Constituents Direct wins Gold Pollie Award January 24, 2005 Mayor Jim Hahn today announced that his campaign Web site -- JimHahn.com -- received the Pollie Award for best Web site by a city, municipal, or regional candidate. The annual Pollie Awards are sponsored by the American Association of Political Consultants. "I think www.jimhahn.org stands out not only for its design, but because it delivers the substance that voters need to make informed decisions," said Mayor Hahn. "I hope more Los Angeles voters will visit my site to help them make an informed decision about the upcoming election." More than 150 judges from across the nation chose this year's Pollie winners, which were announced this weekend in Washington, D.C. The American Association of Political Consultants, founded in 1969, is a bipartisan organization of political professionals, including general consultants, media consultants, pollsters, campaign managers, public affairs executives, and academics. The Hahn campaign Web site was designed in collaboration with Constituents Direct, a locally-based Internet firm that specializes in political Web sites and e-communication.
